Has/have been and Has/have gone

Hi Amigos,
I was a bit busy last week, that's why I wasn't able to post any articles. If you are waiting for one, here you go. Today we'll know the difference between 'Has/have been' and 'Has/have gone'.

Has/have been:
  • It is used for completed tasks.
  • In other words, it refers to an experience.
  • It means somebody has been to a place and he/she is not there now.

eg.,  John has been to London thrice. [John is not in London now].
I have been to Himalayas once. [I am not in Himalayas now].
Has/have gone:
  • It is used to tell somebody has gone to a place and he/she is still in that place.

eg., John has gone to London. [John is in London now].
I have gone to the mall; I should be there in ten minutes. [I am in the mall now].
I hope you would have understood the difference. If you still have doubts, please let me know.

Sayonara!

When I asked them the reason and they told the other trainers never had one and did not get i...
