Who am I?

Dear Fellas,


I am Kumar from Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. I am a Post graduate and have 3 years of experience in marketing and 2 years of experience in International BPOs. At Present I am working as an English trainer in a private institute. I am passionate about training and would like to share my expertise in English with you. I will post  interesting articles about English in my blog from time to time.
My Interests are Watching English movies, Reading Books, Listening to me, Surfing the web, Training, Yoga and Meditation.
 My Favourite movies are Forrest Gump, Million Dollar Bady,  The Shawshank Redemption, The English Patient, Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Cast away, The Exam, ........
I love to listen to music. My favourites are Classical, Hindustani and Ghazals.

Lay and Lie

Hello Associates, Welcome back. Lay and Lie are two confusing words in English. In this article, we will see the difference and usage of Lay and Lie. Lay: It is a verb. Laid is the Past tense and Past participle of Lay. Meanings: Place something in a certain position or on a surface. Cause somebody or something to be in a certain state. After a long time...

Hello Fellas,                      I am back after a looooooooooooooong time. Lately, I was handling a spoken English training in an engineering college. I was shocked to see the way the engineering college students were treated by their lecturers and professors. They treat the students like their captives. No wonder the students hate to study. In my opinion, Education should be a process where one should be interested to explore his knowledge and the teacher should be a guide to the student.  I personally feel that the lecturers and professors are not really interested in their jobs.
